The Plan was for each lady to be weighed and her name put into a hat from which the men would draw. The man paying for his supper a half cent for each pound of his ladies weight. The Look of anxiety as the drawing progressed was comical as was the involuntary groans of the Boys who drew some of our heavy weight matrons. The Party was a complete success and raised a tidy sum for the Church. *************************************************************
