Funeral Planned for Rev Meadows
DEARING, GA, Aug 7-Funeral services for the Rev Earl Boyd Meadows, 46, who died 
at his home in Dearing Wednesday will be held at the graveside in White Oak 
Methodist cemetery at 11 o'clock tomorrow morning.  The Rev HF Barfield will 
officiate.
A native of McDuffie County, the Rev Mr Meadows had been in declining health 
for the past year.
Pallbearers will be Alex Hadden, Claude Whitaker, Odell Davis, John Davis, Tom 
Montgomery, and Oscar Johnson.
Surviving are his wife, Mrs Geneva M Meadows, two daughters , Mrs LF 
Montgomery, Thomson; Miss Eva Lee Meadows, Dearing ; a son, Private Bernard E 
Meadows, Fort Orr, Calif; mother , Mrs Ed Speers, Augusta; four brothers, Percy 
Meadows, George Meadows, JB Meadows and Chester Meadows, all of Thomson; two 
sisters, Mrs WA Hunley, Jacksonville, and Mrs Oscar J ones, Augusta.
(The last name of Percy, George, JB and Chester should be Spears, not Meadows)
