Thomson, Ga. _ Funeral services for Albert McGahee, 76, of Thomson, who died 
Monday at a Milledgeville, Ga, hospital, will be held at 3 p.m. Tuesday at the 
Salem Methodist Church, with Rev Phillip Bonner officiating, assisted by the 
Rev. T. F. Ellison. Burial will be in Savannah Valley Memorial Gardens.
A native of McDuffie County, he was the son of the Late Samuel E and Sallie 
Hodds McGahee. He was a retired farmer and a member of the Salem Methodist 
Church.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Sallie Simons McGahee two daughters, Mrs. 
Clinton Perdue and Mrs. Winton Jones both of Thomson; six sons, Henry Miller 
McGahee, Lavonia, Ga, and Harold McGahee, Joseph McGahee and Eugene McGahee all 
of Columbus, Ga Reuben McGahee, Jacksonville Fla, Bobby McGahee, Thomson, two 
sisters, Mrs. Alma Clark, Augusta and Mrs. Sterling Johnson, Thomson, a brother 
O. E. McGahee, Thomson, 26 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be grandsons.
