McDuffie County I Felix Granade. of Said State and County, being of Sound and disposing mind and Memory. and believing it just and proper. that I should make a distribution of the property with which a kind Providence has blessed me. do make this my last Will and testament. Item 1st I give and bequeath to my three daughters. Sallie V. Johnson, Fannie A. Farr. and Mattie A. Wilson the tract of land whereon I now Reside Containing two Hundred and ninety two Acres. more or less. to be used, controled and divided among themselves equally. as they may think right and proper. each one of them having fill power to control and dispose of her share. as She may think proper by Sale or otherwise Item 2nd I give to my Son George W. Granade One Hundred dollars. believing that amount will make him Equal with the amount already received, with each of my Daughters. Item 3rd I Give my Gold watch to George Gordon Farr, my Grand Son. Item 4th I desire that my Grand Son. John F. Johnson - remain in charge of my farm and growing crops. All of my horses and other line Stock wagons. Household and Kitchen furniture to manage and Control the farm together the Crops to Sell. the Cotton as he gathers it, and to use the proceeds thereof to the payment of my just debts. After the debts are all paid it is my will and desire that whatever remains of my estate outside of the gifts I have already made, including crops. and everything else. be sold and the money equally divided among my three daughters and Son. Item 5th Should my grandson John F. Johnson be put to any unnecsary trouble in keeping my effects together and in looking after the interest of the growing Crop and in gathering and of disposing of the Same as directed in this my last will and Testament. it is my will and desire that he be paid twenty dollars per month for his actual Service but if he has no unnessary trouble in managing my affairs as directed by this will. it is then my will and desire that he be paid ten dollars per month over and above his commissions as allowed by law. Item 6th I hereby appoint my Grandson John F. Johnson Executor of this my last will and testament -This April 5th 1890.
