Darien Timber Gazette
Captain James Dean, one of our oldest and best pilots, has just purchased 
another pilot-boat, the schooner Uriah Timmons, of Wilmington, N.C.  The new 
boat is 23 tons burthen and is said to be very fast.  Captain Dean securred 
the Timmons from Captain C.C. Morse, a well-known pilot of the North Carolina 
Coast.  In exchange for the Timmons, Captain Moore bought the old pilot-boat 
Excelsior and has carried her back with him to North Carolina.  We wish the 
uriah Timmons and her owners every success in our waters.
