DIED—In Augusta on Monday 18th inst. after a short illness, Mr. Jonathan 
Ellis, aged 44 years, leaving a wife and four children, together with a large 
circle of friends and acquaintances, to mourn the loss of one who was beloved 
and respected by all who knew him.  Mr. E. was a native of Thompson 
Connecticut, and has been a resident of this State for the last eighteen years.
