Death of Patrick McGinley

A telegram received yesterday by Mr. James McGinley announced the death of his 
brother, Mr. Patrick McGinley, at Darien yesterday morning.  The deceased was 
a native of this city (Savannah)and served his time as a machinist in the old 
Lachlison foundry.  About twenty-five years ago he moved to Darien, where he 
was for some years engaged in running sawmills.  Lately he has been a 
steamboat engineer.  The deceased was 48 years of age, and leaves a wife and 
five children.  His remains will be buried in Darien.  Mr. James McGinley left 
last night to attend the funeral.

Additional Comments:
Patrick McGinley left a wife Sarah (Doyle) McGinley and four children, Robert 
H. Matthew, Isabelle,Sophie, and Kathleen.  He was preceeded in death by the 
following children: Sarah "Sadie", James, and Francis.
