Amen. I William J. Wallace of county and state aforesaid in being of advanced age and knowing that I must soon depart from this world and being of sound and disposing mind deem it right and proper both in respect to myself and family that I should make a disposition of the property with which a kind providence has blessed me- I therefore make this my last will and testament hereby revoking and annulling all others heretofore made by me. First: I desire and request that my body be buried in a Christian like and decent manner suitable to my circumstances and condition. My soul I wish shall return to sit with God who gave it, as I hope for eternal salvation through our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ whose religion I have professed and as I humbly hope and hast enjoyed for years past. Second: I desire and direct that all my just debts be paid without delay, if any, by my executors hereinafter named as I am _____ my ______ should be delayed of their just rights especially as there no necessity for delay Third: I give and bequeath to my son James Troup Wallace the place in which I now reside together with all improvements consisting of dwelling house and all out buildings and improvements of whatever kind. Workshop sugar mill furnace and boiler and all plantation tools of whatever kind and all apparatus thereto belonging together with the tract of land on which they are situated consisting of two hundred and forty acres more or less together with all that portion of the LeGrand tract not otherwise deposed of—and all horse and mules and oxen and wagons and carts and buggies and other vehicles and also two thirds of my cattle at the time of my death. Fourth: I also give and bequeath to my son James Troup Wallace all that tract and parcel of land lying in being in the county of McIntosh, consisting of one hundred acres more or less and conveyed to me by the state of Georgia and registered in the book of Head rights of the said state H. B.. page 64 for the year 1878. Fifth: I also give and bequeath to my son James Troup Wallace all me household and kitchen furniture beds and beddings. Sixth: I give and bequeath to my beloved grand children Viz: Jessie Alexander Britt, Martha Wallace Britt and William John Britt all that tract and parcel of land on which they now reside together with all the improvements thereon and embracing two hundred acres to include all of my LeGrand tract lying next and near of the public road known as to Darien and Harris Neck road as much south and east of said road as may be required to make up its sum of , 200, two hundred acres. And I hereby appoint Francis J McDonald and James Troup Wallace as my executor and require and direct them to have the same surveyed in accordance with wish as above stated. I also hereby appoint to said F. J. Harris and J. T. Wallace trustees for the said grand children. Seventh: I also give and bequeath to my grand children one third,1/3, of all of my cattle at the time of my death except oxen. Eighth: I also give and bequeath to my beloved daughter in law Evelyn C Wallace my gold watch and chain. Ninth: Any and all property that I may be possessed of undesired is disposed of by this will as to the time of my death I give and bequeath to my son James Troup Wallace. Signed sealed and published as to the last will and testament of William J. Wallace this (7) seventh day of March 1881 in the presence of said testators and in the presence of each other. William J.
