He was the fifth child of Henry Houston Walker and Pauline Perlina Blount. At the age of 24, he married Edna Lee DeLoach, daughter of Charles Augustus DeLoach and Mary Elizabeth Nichols. The wedding was at the Hugley Place on February 2, 1895. Children soon followed, the children born to this union were: 1. Katie Pearl Walker born November 24, 1895 2. Charles Bryan Walker born November 9, 1897 3. Sadie Clyde Walker born March 2, 1900 4. Dora Belle Walker born August 6, 1902 5. Mary Pauline Walker born February 18, 1905 6. Bessie Maude Walker born June 25, 1907 In a book entitled "Notable Men of Alabama" published around the turn of the century, the following was noted for Blount Walker. F. Blount Walker, son of Henry H. and Paulina Walker, was born near Greenville, Meriwether County, Georgia, in 1870. He was educated in the common schools and in early life entered the mercantile business in his native state, following this pursuit until eight years ago, when he removed to Chambers County, Alabama, and since then has been engaged in merchandising, manufacturing and farming. He has also devoted much time contributing to various periodicals. Mr. Walker is still a young man and has a bright future. The family moved numberous times and in 1913 were in Macon, Bibb County, Georgia. Blount Walker died on May 8, 1913 and is buried at Old Fort Hill Cemetery in Macon, Bibb County, Ga.
