The cemetery is located in Meriwether County on Hwy. 109, 4 1/2 miles west of Greenville. The cemetery is the family cemetery of Reuben Strozier, who owned over 1,000 acres and was one of the earliest settlers in Meriwether County. Margaret Strozier, Reuben's mother, is marked by the DAR as a Revolutionary War Patriot. Her husband Peter Strozier was a soldier during the Revolutionary War at the Battles of Kettle Creek and Kings Mountain. (Compiled by Phyllis M.
