Court of Said County met for Ordinary purposes agreeable to adjournment Present ) 8th March 1836 W. B. Ector ) David Keith ) Judstices & James Render) Upon the application of Durey M. Allan for letters of Guardianship for the person and property of Nancy D. Allen orphan & Minor of Pleasant Allen decd. the said Durey M. having given bond in the sum of Eight hundred dollars & given Young S. Allen & Josiah Allen Securities in said bond and taken the oath in Terms of the law. It is ordered that he be appointed guardian for the said Nancy D. Allen & that letters of guardianship be issued to him accordingly - Selina Huddleston having made application for letters of Guardianship of Joseph A. & Miles J. Huddleston Orphans of Allen Huddleston decd She having entered into bond in the sum of Twenty five hundred dollars with H. F. Goss & Willis Huddleston Securities on Said bond & taken the Oath as Term of the law. It is ordered that She be appointed guardian for said orphans & that letters of guardianship be issued to her a such! ========Later after Selina's death==== July Term 1840 Georgia ) Meriwether County ) Inferior Court of said County met for ordinary purposses according to Adjounnment this 6th day of July 1840. Present Wiley B. Ector, James Render & Samuel K. Gates Justices Whereas James A. Perdue applies to this Court to be appointed Guardian of the persona and property of George B. Huddleston orphan of Selina Huddleston Decd. And whereas the said James A. hhas taken the oath as required by law, and entered into Bond in the Sum of Two thousand dollars with John E. Perdue and Rebecca W. Perdue Securities for said bond. Ordered that the appointed guardian of said Orphan and that letters of administration do issue to him. And Whereas Rebecca C. Perdue having made application to this Court to be appointed Guardian for the person and property of George B. Huddleston Orphan of Selina Huddleston, dec'd, and having taken the oath Required by law, and given bond in the Sum of Fifteen Hundred dollars, and given John D. Perdue and Julius S. Perdue, Securities in said bond, It is therefore Ordered that letters of Guardianship do issue to her. So ordered that James A. Perdue Guardian of George B. Huddleston be allowed until the 1st January 1845 to make his return. ==Release of Guardianship for George B. Huddleston== Georgia ) Meriwether County ) B. H. Rendall Ordinary for Said County To all Know these presents Shall come = greetings Whereas Joseph A. Huddleston guardian of George B. Huddleston orphan of Selina Huddleston Dec'd has applied an application for dimission from Said guardianship and on the examination of the est- having found all and Singular the property of said estate which cames under the hands of the Said Joseph A. Huddleston will & truly managed, as appears by the terms of accounts current made to this Court - The Said Joseph A. Huddleston is therefore in possession of the laws noted in and hereof discharge, released and dismissed the said guardianship of aforesaid; and further discloze, of note & using his Securities from future libility, on account of any Security entered into & by & for Said guardian.
