Before the undersigned comes James Bell who is duly sworn says that the 
foregoing returns is true and correctly.  Also he further swears that the 
entire amount rec'd by him was in this return was in Confederate States of 
America Treasury Notes, and that the balance remaining on hand and even now to 
the amount of two Hundred Dollars he did in pursuance of an order from 
Benjamine H. Bigham Judge of Superior Court of amount Bona fide interest in a 
bond of the Confederate States Of America and that deponent now holds the 
identical bond which he rec'd for the fund he so invested for the estate of 
Sarah bell, dec'd
