ment for Ordinary purposes this 1st day of June 1835

 Upon the application of GEORGE WHITTON praying to be
appointed guardian for the persons & property of
CASSEY & SOPHIA WHITTON minors, orphans  & children of
JOHN WHITTON dec'd   he having taken the oath and given
bond in the sum of Sixteen hundred dollars with ROBERT
GOINS & CLARK T WILLIAMS securities in said bond, in
terms of the Law.  It is therefore that he be appointed
guardian for said orphans & that letter of guardianship
do issue to said GEORGE WHITTON.

PROIR illegitimate children  & minors of PENNCHIA PRIOR
 hae ------ & be authorized to sell their interest in & to lots of land
Nos.      in the third dist. of Troup County in the Elizbetta
dists of Originally Troup now Meriwether County, The
application having been regularly made in terms of the law,
he is therefore authorized to sell said lots of land in Terms
of the law, most advantagestly to said illigitimates

That the adminis on the estate of HUGH W ECTOR dec'd be
premitted & authorized to keep the estate of said dec'd togather without
division in joint common stock for the benefit of the family & heirs until
the legal age or marriage of either or otherwise legally
required------ and ti continue to work the plantation,
saw mill, balcksmith sop and carpenter at their
discretion as they may think necessary.
