Watson are held and firmly bound unto the Justices of the Inferior Court sitting as a Court of Ordinary and their successors in office in the just sum of Sixteen Hundred Dollars payable by the said Amanuel, Riley, or Arthur H. or either of them, their heirs, executors, administrators or assigns jointly and severally to be void on condition that if the said Amanuel Finley shall do and perform all the duties of Guardianship for the person and property of Leander F. McLaughlin, orphan of William McLaughlin as the law requires of him otherwise to remain in full force power and virtue. Witness our hands and seals this 6th day of March 1843. Sewell and Amanuel Finley are held and firmly bound unto the Justices of the Inferior Court sitting as a Court of Ordinary in the just sum of Fifteen Hundred Dollars payable by the said Joshua, James and Amanuel or either of them or their heirs, executors and administrators or assigns jointly and severally to be void on condition that if the said Joshua Brooks shall do and perform all the duties of Guardianship for Martha Ann McLaughlin, orphan of William McLaughlin as the law requires of him otherwise to remain in full force. Gresham, Clerk Bond Book A, Page 399 Georgia Meriwether County Know all men by these presents, that we Amanuel Finley, Arthur H. Watson, and Riley Finley acknowledge ourselves jointly and severally bound unto the Honorable the Justices of the Inferior Court of said County, sitting as a Court of Ordinary and their successors and assigns in the just and full sum of Two Thousand Dollars to the payment of which well and truly to be made we bind ourselves and the heirs and executors of us and each of us jointly and severally by these presents sealed our seals and dated this 7th day of May 1848,. The conditions of the above obligation is such that if the above bound Executor, Amanuel Finley who was this day appointed Guardian of the person and property of Susan V. McLaughlin, orphan child of William McLaughlin, deceased, he acknowledging of the same by his acceptance of said appointment and of letters of Guardianship of this date shall well and truly maintain, clothe and educate said orphan according to her circumstances and shall take good and lawful care of her person and property according to the Laws of this State and shall annually make a full and true return of all his actings and doings herein unto the said Court then this obligation to be void else to remain in full force.
