DEED OF ADAMS, SHARP TO RANSOM RAY 1828

Georgia
Meriwether County

This indenture made this Fourth day of January eight hundred and twenty eight 
between Levi M. Adams and George D. Sharp of the one part and Ransom Ray of the 
other part all of the County and State aforesaid.  Witnesseth that the said 
Adams and Sharp for and in consideration of the sum of four hundred and eight 
dollars to them in hand paid at and before the sealing and delivery of these 
presents the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged have granted bargained sold 
and conveyed unto the said Ray his heirs and assigns all that tract or lot of 
land situate lying and being in the County of Troup originally now Meriwether 
known and distinguished by lot number one hundred and forty one in the Eleventh 
District of said County.  To have and to hold the said land with all and 
singular the rights numbers and appurtenances thereof unto him the said Ray his 
heirs and assigns to his and their own use benefit and behoof forever in fee 
simple and the said Adams & Sharp for themselves their heirs and assigns will 
warrant and defend the right and title thereof against the claim of all and 
Every Person whatsoever.
In witness whereof the said Adams & Sharp hath hereunto set their hands and 
seals this day and date above written.
