All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://www.usgwarchives.net/ga/gafiles.htm ************************************************ File contributed for use in USGenWeb Archives by: Gary Hawley ghawley@cablelynx.com November 22, 2004, 1:11 pm part of lot 68 / Ninth District Written: March 12 1856 Recorded: October 25 1856 Wm W Beauchamp Town lot 68-9 (689) Mar-12-1856 Georgia ) Meriwether County ) This indenture made this 12th day of March in the year of our Lord One Thousand eight hundred and fifty six between John D Dunn of the one part & William W Beauchamp of the other part all of the County & State aforesaid Witnesseth that the John D Dunn for & in consideration of the sum of $500.00 five hundred Dollars to him in hand paid the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged hath granted bargained sold & conveyed & by these presents grant bargain sell & convey unto the said William W Beauchamp his heirs administrators executors & assigns a lot or parcel of land Situate lying & being in the (9) ninth district of originally Troup now Meriwether County containing (96) ninty six feet in part & running east (40) forty feet known as the Shor Shop lot in the Town of Woodbury it being part of lot number Sixty Eight (68). To have and to hold said lot or parcel of land to him the said William W Beauchamp his heirs and assigns together with all & singular the rights encumbers & appurtenances thereof or the Same in any manner belonging to and for their own proper use benefit & whereof found in fee Simple and the said John D Dunn for himself his heirs administrators executors assigns unto the said W W Beauchamp his heirs administrators Executors & assigns the said bargained premises will forever warrant & defend the rights & all charges against the claim of themselves & all other persons whatever. In witness whereof the said John D Dunn hath hereunto set his hand and affixed his seal the day and year above written.
