All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://www.usgwarchives.net/ga/gafiles.htm ************************************************ File contributed for use in USGenWeb Archives by: Gary Hawley ghawley@cablelynx.com November 22, 2004, 1:20 pm Written: March 12 1856 Recorded: October 25 1856 690 Wm W Beauchamp Town lot 68-9 Mar-12-1856 Georgia ) Meriwether County ) This Indenture made & entered into this the 12th day of March in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and fifty six between John D Dunn of the one part & William W Beauchamp of the other part both of the County & State aforesaid Witnesseth that the said Dunn for & in consideration of the sum of ninety one Dollars to him in hand paid the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged hath granted bargained sold & conveyed unto the said Beauchamp a certain house & lot in the Town of Woodbury Known in said town as Dunn & Beauchamp Grocery, hundred on the west by the Masonic Hall and west by the shop containing 25 twenty five feet by 30 thirty feet being a part of lot number 68 sixty eight in the ninth (9) District of originally Troup now Meriwether County and the said Dunn for himself his heirs & assigns will forever warrant & defend the right & title thereof against himself heirs and assigns and any other person or persons whatsoever unto the said Beauchamp his heirs & assigns. In matters which the said Dunn hath hereunto set his hand & affixed his seal the day & year above written.
