Wittnesseth that the said William W Beauchamp for and in consideration of the sum of Twelve Hundred Dollars to him in hand paid at & before the sealing and delivery of these presents by the said William A Steed the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged hath granted bargained sold & conveyed and doth by these presents grant bargain sell & convey unto the said William A Steed his heirs executors administrators & assignes all that tract or parcel of land situating & being in the _____ Section, ninth District of Meriwether County & State of Georgia, Known & distingushed in the plan of said District as part of No. (68) containing two & one quarter acres more or less bounded as follows. South by Jas J Alford, east and north by an old field, west by the Street known as the Lot whereon the said Beauchamp now resides, along the lot whereon the Black Smith & Shor Shop now stands, hundred west by shoe shop, south by A Findly’s field west by Masonic Hall lot north by public square situated in Sand Town in said District & County. To have and to hold all and singular the premises aforesaid with all the rights encumbers and appurtenances, to the said William A Steed his heirs executors & administrators & assigns found in fee Simple had. I the said William W Beauchamp will forever warrant & defend the right & title of said premises from myself my heirs executors administrators assigns and from any person whatever unto the said William A Steed his heirs executors administrators assigns and for their own proper use benefit & behalf found.
