             } This Indenture made the 8th day of October in the year of Our 
Lord one thousand eight hundred and twenty seven and in the fifty second year 
of the Independence of the United States of America between John C. Frasier of 
the county of Newton of the one part and Francis Jeter of the county of 
Baldwin of the other part.  Witnesseth that the said John C Frasier for and in 
consideration of the sum of three hundred & thirty two dollars in hand paid at 
and before the sealing and delivery of these presents the receipt whereof is 
hereby acknowledged hath granted bargained, sold, alieved, conveyed and 
confirmed, and by these presents do grant bargain sell, alieve, convey and 
confirm unto the said Francis Jeter his heirs and assigns all that tract or 
lot of land containing two hundred two and half acres situate lying and being 
in the Seventh district of the third section in the County of Troup in said 
state which said tract or lot of land is known and distinguished in the plan 
of said district by the number Seventy Six bounded on the South by No. 75 on 
the East by No. 53 on the North by No. 77 & on the West by No. 85.  To have 
and to hold the said tract or lot of land with all and singular the rights 
members and appurtenances thereof whatsoever to the said Francis Jeter being, 
belonging, or in anywise appertaining with the remainder and remainder 
reversion and reversions rents issues and profits thereof to the only proper 
use benefit and behoof of him the said Francis Jeter his heirs executors 
administrators and assigns in fee simple, and the said John C. Frashier his 
heirs executors and administrators the said bargained Lot of Land unto the 
said Francis Jeter his heirs executors and administrators and all and every 
other person or persons shall and will for ever Warrant and defend by Virtue 
of these presents.  In Witness whereof this day John C. Frashier hath hereunto 
set his hand and affixed his seal this day and year first above written.
