Ray, George W. Ray, lawful heirs of the said Elijah Ray deceased of the same County and State of the other part. Witnesseth that the said Ransom Ray for & in consideration of the sum of eighty dollars to him in hand paid at and before the sealing and delivering of these presents the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged hath granted, bargained, sold, conveyed and confirmed and by these presents hath grant, bargain, sell, convey, & confirm unto her the said Barbara Ray and her children as above mentioned their heirs, Exors. Admin. a certain piece or parcel of Land with the improvements and all rights and privileges thereunto belonging to the same lying and being in the Eleventh district of said County known and distinguished by No. One hundred & Ten in said district containing Fifty acres more or less in the Northeast corner of Said Lott [sic], it being drawn by me and granted, to me by the State, together with all and singular the numbers rights, privileges and appurtenances unto the said Land belonging or in any wise appertaining, To have and to hold the aforesaid fifty acres of land with all and singular the numbers, rights, privileges and appurtenances thereunto belonging or appertaining unto the said Barbara Ray & her children as above mentioned their heirs and assigns in fee simple to their own proper use and behoof forever & the said Ransom Ray for himself his heirs Exors. Admins. He doth warrant and defend the right and title of said fifty acres of land unto the said Barbara Ray and her children as named, against the right and title and lawful claim of all persons whomsoever. In Testimony whereof I hereunto set my hand and seal the day and year above written. Ransom Ray His mark and seal Signed, sealed & delivered in the presence of James Parham Marlin Milliner Georgia Meriwether County Personally came before me Solomon Warlick a Justice of the Peace of said County, Marlin Milliner and after being duly sworn deposeth and saith that he saw Ransom Ray sign seal and deliver the written deed to Barbara Ray & her Children & he also saw James Parham sign as a witness to the same.
