Mrs. Mollie Allen, wife of the devoted missionary, Rev. Young J. Allen arrived at this place last Saturday, on a visit to her sister, Mrs. Sam Arnold of this county. Mrs. Allen has with her three children, and expects to spend one year in her native county, leave her daughter at some College to be educated, and then return to China. Mrs. Allen’s out and return trips demonstrate the great improvement in our means of communication with China from New York, while she arrived at Newnan via Pacific Railroad in one month and twenty-four days after leaving Shanghai.
