Esquire McDaniel, of the second district, voted in Greenville in 1837.  How 
many men are living who voted here as far back as that?  Mr. McDaniel has a 30 
gallon wash pot that has been in use for over 100 years.  It was a gift to his 
wife’s mother in 1768 and was presented to Mr. McDaniel’s wife in 1848.  If 
there are any pots in this part of the vineyard older than this let them be 
registered.
