Ashland Alabama Progress
Mrs. Luna Crawford, age 74, died at the home of her daughter Mrs. Cleophas 
Gilliam, Manchester, Ga. Funeral services were held Sunday afternoon, March 29th 
at Northside Baptist Church, with Rev. Homer Fowler officiating, assisted by Rev. 
J. L. Jamison. Burial followed in Macedonia Cemetery, with Cox Funeral Home in 
charge. Nephews acted as pallbearers. Mrs. Crawford was born in Harris County, 
but she spent 13 years in Clay County. She was a member of Providence Primitive 
Baptist Church. She was loved by all who knew her winning smile and sweet 
personality. She will be missed by many. She is survived by four children three 
sisters, one brother, six grandchildren and one great grandchild.
