DEATH OF MRS. CUMMINGS IN MANCHESTER ON MAY 27th

The death of Mrs. Wyley B. Cummings occurred last Sunday night, May 27th, at 
her home in Manchester, Ga., at an advanced age. She had been in impaired 
health for many months. She and her husband made their home in Roanoke in late 
years until about six months ago when they moved to Manchester. Many friends 
in this place learn with regret of the death of the good wife and mother who 
is survived by the husband and several children.  The body was brought Monday 
to Mt. Pisgah in Chambers county, where funeral services and interment 
occurred that afternoon, in the presence of many friends and relatives. The 
deceased was a member of the Primitive Baptist church for many years. Elders 
Gresham and House of this denomination conducted the last rites.
