Judge A.J. Hinton, for thirty-five years the popular Ordinary of Meriwether 
county, died at Greenville yesterday, after a week's illness. He was a fine 
old gentleman, loved and respected by all who knew him and his death is a 
distinct loss not only to Meriwether county but to the state.
