Louis Reeves, colored, was stabbed and killed last Monday night by Jim Jones 
also colored.  The killing took place near the cabin of Jones.  The parties 
living in sight of Jones’ mills.  The killing occurred at night and in a cotton 
patch.  The difficulty originated in a family quarrel.
