D. Reid, is very low and has been for some time, and at this writing is no better. - - - NEWSPAPER Issue of Friday, APRIL 14, 1882 IN MEMORIAM OF MRS. SARAH L. REID Departed this life, March 29th, 1882, Mrs. Sarah L. Reid, wife of N. D. Reid, aged thirty-seven years and five months. She was a daughter of Sanders B. and Sarah S. Sims of Meriwether county, Ga. In early life she professed a hope in Christ and was baptized into the fellowship of Antioch Baptist church by Rev. E.S. Harris. Her health had been declining for the past two years. To her other sufferings were added a bronchial affliction which for several weeks confined her to her bed. She expressed a desire to live for the sake of her husband and children, but at the same time said that death for her had no terrors. She leaves a kind husband and three small children, besides many friends and relatives to mourn her loss. But they are not comfortless. In her last hours she seemed to catch a glimpse of the "promised land" and shouted aloud, "Happy, Heaven, Happy Heaven!"
