Clark has applied for letters of guardianship of the person and property of Delay Clark, aged 17 years, Maude Clark, aged 15 years, Hattie Clark, aged 13 years, Gladys Clark, aged 12 years, Robert Clark, aged 11 years, William Clark, aged 9 years, Grace Clark, aged 7 years, Lois Clark, aged 5 years and John Clark aged 2 years. This is therefore to notify all concerned to file their objections, if any they have on or before the first Monday in February 1920 next. Plea letters will be granted and applicant as applied for. James R. George Ordinary Additional Comments: NOTES: These are the children of William James Spivey and Ludie Maude Clark of Meriwether, Rocky Mount. Ludie Maude died Jan 23, 1919 after childbirth of 10th child, of influenzia Flu along with baby girl Spivey, died Jan 17 1919. William James Spivey died of self inflicted gunshot on Dec 31 1919, son of James J Spivey who also died of self inflicted gunshot in 1888, and Sara Elizabeth (Besty) Mitchell, daughter of Thomas Mitchell and Rhoda ?.All of Meriwether. The grandfather John Henry Clark son of Samuel Thomas Clark of Meriwether put their names as Clark children not Spivey.William James, Ludie Maude and baby girl Spivey are burried at new Hope in Meriwether.
