McLaughlin on Forest Road, Oak Ridge community, Meriwether county, and boyhood home of Hon. Benjamin Franklin McLaughlin a Greenville attorney who served the county and the district as a representative and as a senator in the state legislature. The home was built most likely in the late 1840's. The cemetery across the road likely contains the unmarked graves of Josiah T. and Mary Ann Jordan McLaughlin, as well as marked and other unmarked graves of Josiah and Mary Ann's descendants.
