Lanier as her security on said bond. It is ordered that the clerk do issue letters of administration in terms of the law to her the said Nancy Bryant---- Ordered by the court Moses Alman, J.P. William C. ---- , Thomas Newell, Silaz Mote and James Franklin . They are hereby (assigned to set the value of the estate) the appraisers of the Estate of William Bryant late of said county decd. =========== Bond Book A Pg. 418 Georgia Merriwether County Know all men by these presence that we Nancy Bryant, James Lanier, and John C. Lanier securities are held and firmly bound with their-------- purposes of the Superior Court sitting for ordinary purposes for said county and their ---in office and assigned in the just and full sum of three hundred dollars for the payment of which sum to the said court of ------and the ---------in office. We bind ourselves, our heirs, executors and administrators in the whole and for the whole Sum jointly and severely and firmly by these presence sealed with our seals and dated this 14th day of January, 1850. The Condition of the above Obligation is Such that if the above -------- Nancy Bryant administrator of the goods, chattels, and credits of the Estate of William Bryant late of Meriwether county deceased which have or shall come into the hands possession or knowledge of the said Nancy Bryant or the hands or possession of any person or persons for her and the same so made do exhibit into the said Court of Ordinary where she shall be there unto required and such goods, chattels, and credits do well and timely administer according to law, and do make a just and true account of her actings and doings-----when she shall ----- be required by the Court, Shall deliver and pay to such person or persons respectively as they may be entitled to the same by law And if it shall hereafter appear that any last will and testament was made by the deceased and the ------ be proven be the Court of Ordinaries and executing obtain a certificate of the probate thereof and the said Nancy Bryant in Such Case if required render and deliver ------ the said letter of administration ----- this obligation to be void else to remain in full force Signed sealed and acknowledged in open court her Nancy X Bryant (seal) mark Attest P.C.
