And first. I Commit my soul to God who gave it. And my body. I desire to be buried on my own place. at such a point as may be selected by my wife Harriet Caldwell. My worldly estate I dispose of as follows: 1st. I desire that all my just debts be paid. including my burial expenses. 2nd I desire that my Executris pay to my Step-Son William Caldwell the sum of Five dollars. 3rd I desire that my wife. Harriet Caldwell. have all of my entire estate. both real and personal. during her life time, and that my effects all be kept together until my youngest Child becomes of age. After the death of my wife. Harriet Caldwell, I desire that my son Sam Caldwell take charge of the estate & keep it together until my youngest Child is of age. then I desire that the entire estate be advertised and sold & that the porceeds be divided between my Children. 4th I desire that my wife Harriet Caldwell act as my Executrix and that immediately after my deah she tak charge of my estate. In witness whereof I. the said Moses Caldwell have set my hand & Seal. this 30th day of August 1883. Moses [his X mark] Caldwell Signed. Sealed. published and declared by the above, named Moses Caldwell as his last Will and Testament. in presence of us. who at his request in presence of each other have subscribed our names as witnesses hereto. The within last Will & Testament of Moses Caldwell, dec'd having been offered for Probate. at this regular term of the Court in common form. and satisfactorily proven before the testimony of B. F. Rowe. & Joseph Caldwell, two of the subscribing witnesses. who testified to all the facts necessary to prove the same, Ordered that the same be admitted to record as the last Will & Testament of said Moses Caldwell de'd & that the nominated Executrix Harriet Caldwell be allowed to qualify & these letters Testamentary issue to her.
