Goss, of said State and County being failing health and knowing that I will shortly depart this life deem it right and proper both as respects my family and myself that I should make a disposition of the property which a Kind providence has blessed me and therefore make this my last will and testament hereby resending all others heretofor made by me. 1st I desire and direct that all my just debts be paid without delay by my Executors as I am unwilling my creditors should be delayed in their rights especially as there is not necessity for delay. 2nd Item I give bequeath and devise to my beloved Brother-in-law William Mitchell Sarah Ann and her three children Morgan a boy, Angelina and Mary Ann. And he the said William Mitchell is to pay into my estate twelve hundred dollars. I give to my sister Caroline Mitchell five hundred dollars I gave John Mitchell my horses, my filly the one I purchased from Tilman Chellon I want her kept on my plantation until a division takes place and ____ be allowed takes until that time. 3rd Item I give bequeath and devise to my beloved sister Sarah Dupree wife of Charles L. Dupree five hundred dollars. 4th Item I give bequeath and devise (This line has been scratched out) 4th Item not Recorded (See original Will) 5th Item. I give bequeath and devise to my beloved sister Elizabeth Harris and her children all the remainder of my property real & personal I want my sister Elizabeth to have Albert valued. I give him to Charles Harris not that I wish him to have more than the rest but want him to have said boy to his part. I want I give to my nephew John Harris one hundred dollars to purhcase him a horse to be put in the hands of his mother to purchase him a horse when sixteen years old, said hundred dollars extra of the rest viz negroes I give them are Gustus, Albert, Harriett, Mavern and two children Henry and Ranson 6th Item I want all my property Kept together until 25 day of December next and no division until that time. 7th Item I appoint Brother William Mitchell and Joseph A. Goss late of Said County, decd. having well & truly administrated all & Singular. The property of Said estate which came into the hands of him the Said Joseph A. Huddleston according to law, and from an examination into the account of Said estate, & the returns of the account current Made to the Court by the Said Joseph A. Huddleston executor as aforded it apprears that he the Said Joseph A. Huddleston executor aforesaid in the discharge of his duties has acted faithfully and honestly; and he having petitioned the Court for discharge from his Said executorship & trust as Such and upon which Said petition the Court having ordered a citation to be issued requiring all persons concerned to Show cause, if any they had; Viz. the Said Joseph A. Huddleston Exts as aforesaid, on the d of the issue Should not be discharged, & it appearing that Said citation has been published Ten months in the Georgia Baines & Sentinel & Public Gazette of this State, in conformity with the law & exonerated and dismiss Said Joseph A. Huddleston Executor of Said John C.
