Goss of the County of Meriwether and State of Georgia Knowing that there is a time alloted for all men to die as to my body I wish to be buried in a descent and Christian like manner as to what worldly effect I may have I wish to be distributed in the following manner : first of all wish all my just debts to be paid wish all my property to be Kept together on the premises in case my daughter Mary Elizabeth should marry I wish her to have equivalent to each of my other two daughters that are married have had in property. The balance to remain until my youngest child John Colbot become of age all be in charge of my wife Luch Goss. Feeling it my duty to provide for a child in expectancy to be born of the body Selina Huddleston I will and bequeath to the aforesaid child provided it should be born alive and live two small negroes horses and Rachel to be given to Selina Huddleston the mother of said Child immediately after the birth of the same Should come to maturity & live and in case the aforeaid Child should not live to manhood, or womanhood the said negroes then to revert back to my estate the balance as aforesaid to be kept together until my youngest child becomes of age as aforesaid then to be equally distribued between my wife and her four children all rendering in account of what they have had so as to come to an equal distribution I leave my wife Lucy Goss Executrix and my son-in-law Charles L. Goss having been duly presented at this Term of the Court in open Court upon the oath of Wm. P. Linsley one of the subscribing witnesses to the said Will and upont the oath of Ch. Koch proving the signature of J. C. Coker the other subscribing witness to said will and also proving that said J. C.
