*In April 1865 the 36th Regiment Ga. Vol. Inf. was
consolidated with the 42d and parts of 34th and 66th
regiments Ga. Vol. Inf. and formed a part of the army
under the command of General Joseph E. Johnston in North
Carolina.

Glenn, Jesse A. Elected Captain of Co. H, 2d Regiment Ga.
Inf. April 20,1861; Colonel of the 36th Regiment Ga. Inf.
April 24, or July 12,1862. Captured at Vicksburg, Miss.
July 4,1863, and paroled there July 9,1863. Dismissed
from service by sentence of Court Martial January 23,
1864.
