He lived about a half mile up the road to Barnesville from Russellville. Sister Precious Russell might have been the wife of Alexander Russell. This information is taken from the Sesquicentennial book published in 1973. It's odd to me that I can't find any burials for Russells in Monroe County. Is there a family cemetery somewhere that I missed? Guess they moved on. I notice also that a John Russell was in the Godfreys Dist., of Bibb Co. on the 1840 census. One Alexander was in the 2nd Ward of Bibb County in 1840. ( If they were the same ones?)
