ACTS OF THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF GEORGIA; PASSED IN NOVEMBER AND DECEMBER, [Illegible Text] 1812 Vol. 1 -- Page: 43 Sequential Number: 028 Type: AN ACT Full Title: [Illegible Text] form a new division out of the counties of Randolph, Jones, [Illegible Text], Pulaski, [Illegible Text], Laurens and Wilkinson. § 1. BE it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the state of Georgia in General Assembly met, & by the authority of the same it is hereby enacted, That the counties of Randolph, Jones, Twiggs. Pulaski, Telfair, Laurens and Wilkinson be, and the same are hereby formed into a new division, to be known by the fifth division of Georgia Militia. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Page: 10 of the sixth Division, and that the counties of Telfair, Appling, Irwin and Early, shall compose the second Brigade of the sixth Division of Georgia Militia, which said Brigades shall form and be known as the sixth Division Telfair, Appling, Irwin and Early 2nd Brigade Rubun, Habersham, Hall and Gwinnett Telfair, Appling, Irwin and Early Ballotting: Major General of the 6th Division; a Brigadier General of the 2d Brigade of the 6th Division, and a Brigadier General of the 5th Division of Georgia Militia. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Page: 44 § 2. Walker of the second division of Georgia militia. Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the State of Georgia in General Assembly met, and it is hereby enacted by the authority of the same, That from and after the passage of this [Illegible Text] the county of Butts be, and the same is hereby attached to the [Illegible Text] brigade fifth division Georgia Militia. Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That the county of Pike be, and the same is hereby attached to the second brigade eighth division Georgia Militia. Sec. 3. And be it further enacted by the authority aforesaid, That all laws and parts of laws militating against this act, be and the same are hereby repealed.
