Henry Lane in the Battalion of Lieut. Col. Jones, commanded by Major General John C. McIntosh in the War with Great Brittain........and that he volunteered on or about 17 Nov 1814 for the term of six months and continued in actual service... For the term of five months and ten days and was honorably discharged at Fort Hawkins in the County of Jones in the State of Georgia at or about the 27th day of April 1815...... "that she was married to said Jesse Brantley in the State of Georgia and county of Hancock on or about the first day of September 1797 by one Johnathan Thomas, a minister of the Gospel and that her name before her said marriage was Mary O'Rear and that her husband died at or near the first day of September 1842 at his residence in the County of Meriwether and state of Georgia. Jesse was born ABT. 1769 in North Carolina.
