R. Shiver Bainbridge, Ga. - The funeral services of Calvin (C. R.) Shiver, 73, who died Monday, was conducted today at the Ivey Funeral Home Chapel here. Interment followed in the County Line Baptist Church Cemetery in Miller County. A native of Mitchell County, he had lived most of his life in Miller County before moving to Decatur County a year and a half ago. A retired farmer, he was a member of the County Line Baptist Church. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Ida Shiver, Bainbridge; a son, Lagett Shiver, Charleston, S. C.; two daughters, Mrs. Benny King, Bainbridge and Mrs. Elaine Mott, Colquitt; three brothers, four sisters; five grandchildren and one great - grandchild. Source: The Albany, Ga.
