Services were held Wednesday, December 30, at 2 p. m. in the New Enterprise Freewill Baptist Church with the Rev. W. F. McDuffie officiating. Burial followed in Oak City Cemetery. Born in Miller County in 1912, Mrs. Loyless had lived in Decatur County approximately six years. She was a retired seamstress and homemaker. She was a member of the New Enterprise Freewill Baptist Church and Womens Auxiliary of Enterprise Church. She is survived by one son, Jimmy Ray Loyless, Gainesville, Fla.; two brothers, Joe Evans, Donalsonville; and Douglas Evans, Lakeland, Fla.; and one sister, Mrs. Clyde Barrington, Colquitt. Active pallbearers were Nathan Cumbie, Carol McLendon, Pete Loyless, Joe Loyless, Jimmy Slocumb, Charles Wright and Floyd Evans. Cox Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements. She married James Washington Loyless 27 January 1928 in Miller County, Georgia Book G, Page 100. James Washington Loyless was born 06 January 1907 Miller Co., GA and died 21 February 1976.
