Obituaries of Miller County, GA. 1984-1992

Mrs. Jessie Merle Cleveland, age 49, of Route 3, Colquitt, died Saturday, 
August 30, 1986, at her home.  Mrs. Cleveland was born in Seminole County on 
July 12, 1937.  Her parents are Mrs. Coy Smith of Colquitt and the late Robert 
Smith.  She was married to Charles W. Cleveland of Colquitt and was a member
of Bellview Freewill Baptist Church.  Funeral services were held Monday, 
September 1, 1986, at 11:00 a.m. at Bellview Freewill Baptist Church with Rev. 
Bill Robertson officiating.  Interment was in the church cemetery.  
Pallbearers were Charles Brown, Victor Smith, Leon Smith, Patrick Smith, Bobby 
Smith and Randy Brown.  Survivors include her husband, Charles W. Cleveland of 
Colquitt; two sons, Michael Cleveland of Columbus and Kim Cleveland of 
Colquitt; her mother, Mrs. Coy Smith of Colquitt; two brothers, Bobby Smith 
and Travis Smith, both of Colquitt; one sister, Mrs. Phyllis Reagan of Iron 
City; and three grandchildren.  Colquitt Funeral Home was in charge of 
arrangements.
