Shepard Billie Bruce Shepard, 89, of Camilla, GA, died Monday, March 29, 1993 at Mitchell County Hospital in Camilla, GA. Mr. Shepard was born October 31, 1903 to the late William Boyd Shepard and Lizzie McNair. A native of Miller County, he was the former owner of Shepard Motor Company in Leary, GA and former owner of Shep Oil Company in Leary, GA. Mr. Shepard was a member of the Lions Club in Leary and a member and chairman of Deacons of Leary Baptist Church for many years. He had lived in Leary most of his life until the past two years of living in Camilla, GA. Graveside services were held Tuesday, March 30, 1993, 4:00 p. m., at the Leary City Cemetery in Leary, GA, with Rev. John Beck and Rev. Bob Ford officiating. Parker Funeral Home in Camilla, GA was in charge of arrangements. Mr. Shepard is survived by his wife, Sara Whitaker Shepard of Camilla, GA; one son Jimmy Dunn of Hopeful, GA; one granddaughter, Jaclyn Dunn of Hopeful, GA; and several nieces and nephews.
