Wood, woodja0@home.com June 22, 2001 The Albany Herald Wednesday, December 14, 1994 ------------------------------------- Willie Olton Cofty Farmer Colquitt, Ga. - Willie Olton Cofty, 89, of Colquitt died Monday at Miller Nursing Home. The funeral will be at 3 p.m. today at Colquitt Funeral Home with burial in Rawls Cemetery in Miller County. The Revs. Ben Edwards and Gans Ernest will officiate. A native of Miller County, Mr. Cofty was a farmer, a former Miller County Commissioner and a member of Union Missionary Baptist Church. Survivors include his wife, Rannie Cofty of Colquitt; three daughters, Barbara Jones of Molino, Fla., and Merle Buffkin and Patsy Wood, both of Shalimar, Fla.;a brother, Frank Cofty of Colquitt; two sisters, Johnnie Cook of Colquitt and Maggie Donovan of Milton, Fla.; five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
