Services are Sunday at 2 p. m. at Roselawn Memory Gardens with the Reverend Lloyd Gebhart, Raymond Evans, the Reverend Ben Hill Phillips and the Reverend Earl Henshaw officiating. Memorials may be made to St. Patrick's Episcopal Sunday School Building Fund, 2509 Homewood Drive, Albany, Ga. 31707. The family will receive friends at the graveside at Roselawn Memory Gardens from 1 p. m. until funeral time on Sunday. Mrs. Evans was born on July 19, 1910, in Miller County. She had lived the past six years with her daughter in Albany. Prior to this time she made her home in Bainbridge most of her life. She was a homemaker and was a member of First Church of God, Bainbridge. She is preceded in death by her husband, Jesse Howard Evans. She is survived by three daughters, Dr. LeAnna Walton of Albany, Gretha Ash of Watertown, N. Y. and Birdie Gebhart of Florence, Oregon; three sons, Floyd Evans of Roanoke, Ala., Othello Evans of Kansas City, Mo. and Raymond Evans of Jefferson City, Mo.; two sisters, Mrs. Emma Cumbie of Bainbridge and Mrs. Rebecca McLendon of Leesburg; 13 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren. She is also survived by the Rev. Lloyd Gebhart, Mrs. Bannie Evans, Mrs. Carole Evans, and Dr. Jerry Walton. Cox Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements. 246-4411.
