The funeral will be at 2 p.m. today at Colquitt United Methodist Church with interment in Thompson Cemetery. The Rev. Matt Stuart will officiate. A native of Decatur County, Mrs. Avery was born November 2, 1916. She was a homemaker and a member of Colquitt United Methodist Church. Survivors include a daughter, Edith Avery Davis of Colquitt and two grandchildren, Carolyn Leigh Daughtry of Baconton and John Bradley Avery Davis of Baconton, and several nieces and nephews.
