The funeral will be at 2 p.m. today in the chapel of Evans-Skipper Funeral Home with interment in Spring Creek Baptist Church Cemetery. The Rev. David Grubbs and the Rev. Luther Hastey will officiate. A native of Miller County, Mr. Henry was born July 1, 1936. He was employed by the City of Bainbridge for 10 years, had worked at Englehart for several years and retired from Great Southern Paper Company after 31 years. He was a landscaper for 25 years. He was a member of Calvary Assembly of God. His parents were the late Ben and Lillie Mae Morning Henry. He was preceded in death by Jean Henry and Leon Henry. Survivors include his wife, Hazel E. Whittaker Henry of Donalsonville; two sons, Melvin and Bonita Henry of Donalsonville and Willard Brandon and Priscilla Whittaker of Bainbridge; three daughters, Dorothy Gail and James Palmer of Tuscaloosa, Ala., Wanda Theresa and Bobby Merkerson of Cummings, Ga., and Beverly Ann and Kenneth Kreps of Chattanooga, Tenn.; a brother, Edgar "Boy" and Nancy Henry of Donalsonville; sister, Jessie Mae Drapper of Colquitt; 16 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Tommy Rogers, Harold Sallas, Perry Henry, Craig Carr, Donny Draper and Jimmy Carr.
