The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Colquitt Funeral Home Chapel with interment in Cooks Union Church Cemetery. The Rev. Gerald Horne will officiate. A native of Miller County, Mrs. Cook was born September 7, 1939. She was a homemaker and a member of Kimbrel Chapel Church of God. Mrs. Cook was preceded in death by a brother, Charles Thompson, and a sister, Katrina Stinson. Survivors include her husband, Sarince E. Cook Jr. of Colquitt; daughter, Patricia Clearman and son-in-law, Luke Clearman, of Colquitt; son, Steve Cook and daughter-in-law, Vivian Cook, of Colquitt; four brothers, C.D. Thompson and Wendell Thompson, both of Colquitt, Frank Thompson of Americus and Bradley Thompson of Pelham; sister, Hilda Givens of Colquitt; four grandchildren, Stephanie Holt, Shelley Middleton, Stamey Cook, and Lindsey Clearman; three great granddaughters, Nicolette Holt, Logan Holt, and Harlie Middleton.
