The funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Monday at First United Methodist Church, with burial in Floral Memory Gardens. The Rev. Emery Ramsey will officiate. A native of Colquitt, Mrs. Douglas had resided in Albany for 50 years. She was a member of New Salem C.M.E. Church, Westtown Methodist Church was her watch care church. Mrs. Douglas was a homemaker. Survivors include four daughters, Eloise D. (Richard) Moore, Judy D. (Lewis) Thomas and Irene D. (Lenton) Jackson, all of Albany, and Dolores D. (Willie) Burt of Tuscalossa, Ala.; a son, Louis (Connie) Douglas Jr. of Albany; three sisters, Rucell Burke of Bainbridge, Marjorie Williams and Annette Williams, both of Colquitt; four brothers, Benjamin Williams, Ernest Williams, Willie R. Williams and Milton Williams, all of Colquitt; and eight grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends and relatives at the home of Lewis and Judy Thomas, 1313 Augusta Drive today (Sunday) from 4 p.m.-6 p.m.
