The funeral will be at 4 p.m. Thursday at Colquitt United Methodist Church with interment in Colquitt City Cemetery. The Rev. Matt Stewart will officiate. The pallbearers will be Bill Grow, Ronald Hutchins, David Maxwell, Daryl Miller, Ronald Rentz, Terry Toole and Clyde Jinks Jr. A native of Miller County, Mrs. Sexton was the daughter of John S. Wilkin and Temperance Bush Wilkin. She was a retired school teacher and guidance counselor and served with distinction for forty years in the school system of Miller County before retiring on May 30, 1975. She was an undergraduate alumnus of Huntington College in Montgomery, Ala., and received her master's degree from the University of Georgia in 1964. She was a member of the Delta Kappa Gamma Society. She was also a lifetime member of the Colquitt United Methodist Church. Survivors include her son, Richard Sexton of New Orleans, LA; two granddaughters, Adrianne Sexton and Claire Sexton of New Orleans, LA; several nieces and nephews. Mrs. Sexton was preceded in death by her husband, Richard Clayton Sexton. Visitation will be 7:30 p.m.-9 p.m. today at the funeral home. Colquitt Funeral Home
