Pataula Creek Camp Grounds, Lot 6, Fort Gaines, died Wednesday, January 16, 2002, at Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital. The funeral will be at 3 p.m. today at Colquitt Funeral Home Chapel with interment in Colquitt City Cemetery. The Rev. Walter Daniels will officiate. The pallbearers will be Roger Horne, Larry Glass, Ronald Whiddon, Tracy Richardson, Danny Whiddon, Jerry Taylor and Curt Richardson. A native of Miller County, Ms. Whiddon was the retired owner of B.J. Bargain Barn in Blakely. She was a member of Lakeside Community Church in Abbeville, Ala. Survivors include her son, Gerald Wacaser of Fort Gaines; an adopted son, Max McCall of Abbeville, Ala.; two brothers, H.E. "Buddy" Glass of Colquitt and James Glass of Leesburg; sister, Myrle Harden of Colquitt; several nieces and nephews also survive. She was preceded in death by her husband, Gerald Whiddon in December 2001.
