Davis The Albany Herald, Online Albany, Georgia August 29, 2001 Colquitt- Ada M. Davis, 100, of 206 Grace Street, Colquitt, died Monday, August 27, 2001, at the Miller Nursing Home. The funeral was held at 4 p.m. Tuesday at Colquitt Funeral Home Chapel with interment in Flat Creek Cemetery. The Rev. James Miller and the Rev. Robert Johns officiated. The pallbearers were Ronald Chad Widner, Taylor Cook, Dole Hamilton Cook III, John Newberry Williams, Jr., and Charles Quintard Wright III. A native of Miller County, Ms. Davis was a homemaker and a member of Flat Creek Baptist Church. Survivors inclde two daughters, Carolyn Cooper and Eunice "Sis" Cook both of Colquitt, a son, Hunter C. Davis of Blakely, six grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. (Mrs. Davis was preceded in death by her husband Carl Franklin Davis. She was the daughter of Wright and Cullie Sheffield Williams of Miller County.)
